This part is not made by Carpe Iter and is only offered for ease of shopping everything needed for installation of our kits in one place.

To attach Carpe Iter Lightweight holder to the stock GPS bracket, you will also need the Short Bracket for 12mm or AMPS base. AMPS base has less adjustment possibilities and might cause the Lightweight holder overlap with the stock dashboard slightly. On the other hand Short Bracket will create additional leverage on the stock GPS bracket, which will result in amplifying the wobble. Choice depends on riding preferences (paved/unpaved roads and speed).

Make sure that the CI Pad is fully covered behind the windscreen to protected it from elements when riding at speed.
